2010

There is nothing quite like having a baby to enjoy Christmas in a whole new light. We love these adorable Life is Good pjs that our Aunt Karen sent.
Blakely is 7 months old and loving her new ability to sit up...sometimes!
she loves all of the Christmas packages!
 and lights, decorations, and ornaments!

 She loves her buddy Zizi!
Here we are just days before Christmas visiting Santa for the first time at Brookwood village!
Nothing beats family time at Mimi and Grans!

looking adorable in this beautiful dress Aunt Alli hand crafted!

 loving on her Maw!

The Russell family tradition of crackers on Christmas eve!

Santa's first visit!!! He outdid himself...not sure why he set the bar so high for the following years!
look at the stash for Zizi...good grief! Lucky puppy!!!
 a view of both!
I must tell a quicky story that I don't want to ever forget! While Santa was setting up Zizi was locked upstairs in the room with Clint. After a little while just before we were getting in bed, our dear Zizi went missing...found her downstairs going through her fun stuff with all the lights out and a ball in her mouth! This creature is human-not even 1% dog...

A fun wagon from Mimi and Gran!!!

For our first Christmas with Blakely, it SNOWED!!! Such a fun little addition to our perfect day!

Mommy loves her buddy more than more!!!!

Dining room decor and my beautiful white tree!

Merry Christmas!!!

Introduction

I decided this year, to follow through with creating a ongoing blog filled with our Christmases. I heard a couple years ago from Pastor Danny that they keep a 'Christmas Memories' book in their house filled with traditions and pictures and have had it for years. He said it is the single most special possession they have. I love my blog books so much and have been meaning to create a similar book for our Christmases. It finally donned on me that I could keep up a blog of our Christmases each year and one day when I'm old and gray and cannot remember a single thing...I'll get this blog printed just like my blog books and run my fingers through each and every page filled with precious memories and cherish them until the day I die.

So, here is to many many many wonderful Christmas memories!
